Much like the novel, these images are a story of resilience and hope through difficult times. The passage in White Horse Red Blood describes the main character moving closer to a brilliant fleck of light that continues to grow until they've fallen through it, into a new realm filled with light. We see this character's growth as the story continues, knowing they cannot and should not avoid the light.
